Film to launch Ironhurst Valley Nature Reserve

The Forest Stewardship Council

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international nonprofit that sets independently-certified standards for responsible forest management and certifies wood, paper, and other forest products so consumers and businesses can identify materials sourced sustainably.

We have been working with the FSC for many years, documenting stories spanning forest conservation, certified supply chains, community forestry, smallholder programmes, ecotourism, and even beekeeping.

How tree planting is benefits farmers in Western Kenya, ecologically, and  financially.

Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

Photography and film from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand

The RSPO brings together palm oil growers, processors, retailers, NGOs, and other stakeholders to reduce deforestation, protect wildlife habitat, and improve labour conditions.

This film looks at the wider environmental benefits for smallholder farmers becoming RSPO certified, and so farming more sustainably. It was used to promote the RSPO’s smallholder scheme internationally, and among lkocal farmers to improve uptake of group certification schemes.
